Xi Bootis is a fictional organization possibly dedicated to the promotion of certain unspecified software engineering practices, the theoretical discussion of supposedly proper programming techniques, and a potential provider of useful vaporware to the masses.
Well...you have to start somewhere, no?
I've long intended to publish a simple website that I could use to pontificate on a variety of software and technological topics, but it takes a surprisingly long time to get the basic site set-up perfected...and so I've decided to forego that step. I'll just throw the website up as-is, despite the fact that I don't much care for the colours, the layout, the paucity of content, or much else about it for that matter. Presumably, these will evolve over time into something a little more palatable. I hope you stick around long enough for that to happen.
